The Rolls-Royce Group and its Power Systems division are entering the next phase of their transformation – a process spanning several years that will future-proof the business. With its renowned mtu brand and strong competitive edge, Power Systems is excellently placed to
drive its transformation and deeper integration into the Rolls-Royce Group. Against this background, the Supervisory Board places a high premium on the continuity and stability of the Management Board and therefore took an early decision on 16 February 2024 to extend the contract of Board Member Dr Thelse Godewerth up to 31 January 2028.

“Over the past few years, Thelse Godewerth has used her expertise and leadership qualities to drive transformation and cultural change in the Rolls-Royce Group and its Power Systems division with
decisiveness and in a way that shows results,” said Jasmin Staiblin, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG. “In these times of constant change, we wish to be able to count on Thelse Godewerth’s presence on the Board as a strong and experienced leader and are very happy to continue our highly successful and trust-based collaboration with her.”

Thomas Bittelmeyer, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, said: “Employee representatives on the Supervisory Board welcome the re-appointment of Thelse
Godewerth and the opportunity to continue what has been a solid and constructive working relationship. We’re looking ahead positively to the forthcoming tasks.”

“I would like to thank the Supervisory Board for the trust they have placed in me. It is a pleasure and an honor for me to continue shaping this important and eventful chapter in our company's history. I look forward to continuing my work with fellow board members and social partners, and to supporting the entire workforce and the Rolls-Royce team on their onward journey,” said Thelse Godewerth.
