Change in Tognum Supervisory Board

• Dr. Jutta Nübel is to replace Dr. Volker Joos as a Staff Representative

Friedrichshafen, 8 October 2008. Dr. Jutta Nübel (49) has joined the Supervisory Board of Tognum AG as a staff representative. She will replace Dr. Volker Joos (59), who has, until now, been representing Tognum’s top level executives on the Tognum Supervisory Board.

Nübel has been working for Tognum subsidiary MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH since 1989. She has been a member of the top level management since 2000 and heads the Technical Information Management department, which is an integral part of the After Sales division.

Joos, who is leaving Tognum for retirement reasons, has been working for approximately 20 years for the company and has been in charge of the corporate Education and Training program since 1993. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board since Tognum AG was established in 2007, in his role as the Chairman of the Representative Committee for Top Level Executives. Jutta Nübel, who has previously deputized for Joos on both committees, will now succeed him both on the Supervisory Board, as well as in the Representative Committee.
