Board of Management Business Unit Power Systems
Dr. Jörg Stratmann
Dr. Jörg Stratmann has been President of Rolls-Royce's Power Systems business unit since mid-November 2022, Chairman of the Board of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, Managing Director of Rolls-Royce Solutions GmbH, and is a member of the Rolls-Royce Group's management team. In the transformation from an engine manufacturer to a provider of integrated and sustainable energy solutions, he builds on his extensive and decades-long experience from his international management activities. "Rolls-Royce Power Systems is very well placed to generate value from the transformation and to develop new successful business models," says Stratmann. Born in 1969, the industrial engineer studied and earned his doctorate at the Technical University of Berlin, gained international management experience in the USA, Italy, Romania and Germany with the electrical group Siemens and held leading positions at the automotive supplier Mahle, most recently as CEO.
Dr. Thelse Godewerth
Dr. Thelse Godewerth has been Chief People Officer and Labour Director of Rolls-Royce Power Systems since 14 January 2022. She has more than 15 years of experience in leadership positions in the areas of human resources, corporate and organizational development, and in these functions also assumed responsibility for the areas of finance, HSE, real estate and communications, among others.
In January 2021, Thelse Godewerth took over the global leadership of the Human Resources & Organizational Development functions of Rolls-Royce Power Systems. Previously, she was responsible for the global HR & Organizational Development function in a leading international provider of laboratory products and services in the life sciences sector. Other positions included the role of Managing Partner of an international consulting firm, Head of Corporate and HR Development at a leading German media and newspaper publishing group, and her work in the Strategy Department of the State Chancellery of Lower Saxony in Hanover.
Thelse Godewerth studied politics, economics and psychology at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, where she also completed her doctorate.
Dr. Andreas Strecker
Since 1 December 2022, Dr. Andreas Strecker reinforces the Executive Board of Management as Chief Financial Officer.
Strecker has extensive experience in the financial management of international corporations, primarily in the automotive and industrial sectors. Most recently, he was President, Europe & Asia, at Accuride Wheels, a supplier to the global commercial vehicle industry, with responsibility for plants in Asia and Europe. Prior to that he was CFO of Cologne-based engine maker Deutz AG, and CEO of Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o., where he turned the company into the leading manufacturer of electric buses.
