mtu Onsite Energy Corp. Finalizes Land Purchase

• Investment symbolizes commitment to community

MANKATO, Minn., May 21, 2014 – mtu Onsite Energy Corp., an international leader in diesel and gas-based distributed power systems, today announced it has acquired a 6.3-acre parcel of land at 120 Power Drive in Mankato. The parcel is located at the intersection of Power Drive and Technology Drive, adjacent to the company’s existing office and production facility.

“We’re committed to our business here in Mankato,” said Todd Riemann, CEO, mtu Onsite Energy. “We have been building power generation systems in Mankato for 62 years and we’re proud to continue to invest in this community.”

The company has no current plans for expansion.

As one of the core brands of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, mtu Onsite Energy’s complete power system solutions are engineered in both Mankato and Germany, and many of its products are manufactured exclusively in Mankato for customers around the world.
