mtu NautIQ Master Unlimited
Integrated platform management for complex vessel operations
As vessel systems become increasingly interconnected and operational requirements continue to evolve, effective integration and centralized control become essential. mtu NautIQ Master Unlimited brings monitoring, control and management functions together within a scalable Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) designed for complex commercial, governmental and naval applications.
Built on a distributed processing architecture with multiple levels of redundancy, the platform supports the integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) technologies alongside critical vessel systems, making it a true system of systems capable platform. Combined with industry-standard equipment, communication protocols and a scalable architecture, it helps reduce integration effort, installation and commissioning complexity while minimizing obsolescence risk. At the same time, it provides the survivability, flexibility and long-term supportability required for demanding vessel applications operated by increasingly lean crews.

mtu NautIQ Master Unlimited – IPMS incorporates
Propulsion:
The Propulsion Control System (PCS) operates on a dedicated network and can be fully integrated into the IPMS architecture. The system supports a wide range of propulsion configurations, including gas turbine, diesel and electric drives, as well as fixed-pitch propellers, controllable-pitch propellers and azimuth propulsion systems.
Electrical:
Remote monitoring and management of electrical systems, generators and switchboards support efficient power distribution, duty rotation and blackout recovery, while enabling close integration with propulsion and vessel management functions.
HVAC:
Remote and automated control of ventilation and extraction systems helps maintain onboard environmental conditions while supporting integration with wider safety and damage control functions.
Fluids:
Monitoring and management of fuel, lubricating oil, cooling, ballast, bilge, aircraft refuelling and firefighting systems provide centralized visibility and control of critical vessel services.
Damage Control:
Graphical presentation of safety systems with remote or automated operation of hatch, door and ventilation closure, extraction systems, bilge and flood control, fire fighting systems, fire suppression systems and resource deployment.
Resilient Networks:
Dual redundant networking of alternative architectures to meet specific customer requirements, including ARCNET or Ethernet over standard cable or managed fibre optic arrangements.
Simulation:
Integrated training capabilities allow operators to train using ship trial data or predefined operational scenarios. Replica system environments support realistic training with mimic sets without the need for separate software platforms.
WINMON™ - Lloyd’s Award for software innovation
WINMON™ provides a common environment for monitoring, alarm management and system configuration across the platform. Developed through decades of marine automation experience, the software presents critical information through a structured graphical interface designed to support efficient operation and decision-making.
Its intuitive operating environment simplifies both operation and maintenance, while integration capabilities enable the incorporation of third-party software and vessel systems. Together, these capabilities provide a comprehensive platform for vessel monitoring and management.
