CaPoS smart edition is mtu's capacitor power system for Series 1600, 1800 and 4000. It provides the high energy levels your heavy-duty applications crave.

mtu's CaPoS (Capacitor Power System) smart edition has been developed with heavy-duty applications in mind. It's designed to deliver the kind of high energy required by 24V DC starters during the starting sequence.

CaPoS smart edition uses capacitor technology to optimize start-up behavior. The number of modules used is dependent on your motor type, the power system and its breakaway torque.
